The Cave

Title Sequence nominated for an oscar in 2020.

Ever seen a newspaper article without a headline? Without it would be hard to decide if the topic and angle are worth your time and brainpower. Of course, you are in a different setting when you are in the cinema or are streaming films. But grabbing you attention and getting you in the right mood with an excitingly designed introduction can make all the difference for how you experience a film. It’s all about setting the scene. And in the case of the Danish documentary The Cave by Feras Fayyad and Alisar Hasan we used all our vast experience with creating intros and title sequences for Danish television and movie production companies. We set the scene by building an underground structure that explained the film’s theme: the subterranean hospital in Al-Ghouta, the besieged area in Syria.
It’s a great documentary that’s worth your time (not only because of our intro, of course). And it was nominated for an Oscar in 2020.
