A zebra is one of the most eye-catching animals.
If it’s in a picture, it is visible to all. Well, if this were true, there wouldn’t be any zebras left. Because naturally, zebras have learned how to hide from those that shouldn’t spot them.
In this sense, we are just like zebras. One of the most essential demands of commercial design is transparency.
In most cases, you shouldn’t notice the design at all, only feel informed, attracted and maybe touched by the function or message it helps deliver.
There may be cases where the design may be the message. But never the designer. Of course, we like to leave our mark on the things we produce.
But we have learned to hide the mark except for professional eyes.
